Strategic Value

This property is one of the keys to creating a strategic conservation corridor along the “Three Forest Trail”, which connects the moist and cloud forest of the Jama-Coaque Reserve with dry forest in the smaller private reserve called Bosque Seco Lalo Loor and ultimately with the Pacific Ocean. It contains a nice patch of cloud forest along the ridge, and represents the headwaters of the Sapano Stream, including several waterfalls which are difficult to access.
